... just in time for St. Patrick's Day!! What happens when you put a Wedding Planner, a Photographer, and two Florists together in one room? A lovely tablescape inspiration shoot, that's what! With spring just around the corner (we hope!), we were inspired by a fresh palette of greens and whites, and a definite nod to Pantone's color of the year, Emerald. We also wanted to create a more crisp, bold and contemporary aesthetic... there is plenty of vintage inspiration out there!
One of my favorite elements is the tall, textural centerpiece that we set atop a 24" high acrylic pedestal... we wanted to create height without blocking one's view across the table! Grace and Zenia created a dramatic focal piece with lots of hydrangea, flowering kale, green trick, bells of ireland and other exotic blooms!
I set the table with modern, clean-lined dinnerware, stemware and flatware. The green and white patterned napkins were wrapped with a laser-cut bellyband place card, custom designed for us by Red Tree Creations.
The guest's first named was lightly etched into the thick cardstock, and their last names were laser cut so that the patterned napkin showed through.
I printed the menu cards on transparency paper (yes, they still do sell those!!) and they were measured and cut to perfectly fit on top of the white appetizer plate, as if it was "floating".
To continue with the "see-through" trend (menus, acrylic pedestal), the table number was also printed on transparency paper and set inside a white standing frame.
Grace and Zenia created amazing accent florals with white anemones, green trick, ti leaves, and other exotic leaves.
The tealight candle holders were also made of acrylic!
We played around with my engagement ring tucked into the ranunculous with green centers. The chairs were accented with brunia berries and wrapped leaves.
We also created a floating escort card arrangement by stacking multiple acrylic stands, and strategically placing floral and candles on and within the acrylic. So fun, modern and unique!
I am obsessed with these laser cut escort cards, also custom designed for us by Red Tree Creations!
Have a closer look...
I hope you enjoyed our tablescape inspiration shoot!
