Happy Friday! What do you think of our new Sweetchic website and blog layout so far?! Lauren & Jimmy were so much fun to work with on their wedding last September! They chose the Chicago History Museum, which was the perfect venue to create their vision of a "vintage, historic-inspired and fun" wedding. Jimmy is a comedian by trade, so the "fun" aspect was a necessity! I loved that we brought it tons of unique elements to their day... multiple song performances during their ceremony, including a trio by Lauren, Jimmy and their Officiant... an Abe Lincoln impersonator, an ice cream cart, a JAZZERCIZE routine... need I say more?! I'll let the gorgeous photos by Steve Koo Photography do the rest of the talking!
I love that Lauren chose orange as the primary color... such a happy, under-appreciated color!!
Let me just interject to say that this was one of my absolute favorite moments of the day... towards the end of their wedding ceremony, Lauren, Jimmy and their Officiant broke into song, an original, humorous song called Take my Advice (which I believe was written by their Officiant!). Completely awesome!
