I hope everyone had a wonderful July 4th! It's been SCORCHING in Chicago, so we basically stayed inside all day :) Now back to Anne & Rick's lovely wedding at the Rookery, photographer by J Wiley Photography! Guests were welcomed by a dramatic cherry blossom branch arrangement, which doubled as their wish tree!
An extra wide aisle, accented with pale pink rose petals...
One of my favorite group shots, ever! The layout of the Rookery made it so nice and easy for all 125ish guests to fit on the steps, and they were SO orderly, this literally took 5 minutes. Amazing!
Ahhh, Vale of Enna strikes again! Grace never ceases to amaze me with her lush, generous arrangements, this time in vibrant shades of deep red and fuchsia with accents of green.
Rick's mom quilted this amazing double happiness banner which we pinned to their sweetheart table. The detail on it was stunning!
I love it when my couples decide to bring vibrant colors into the Rookery, which serves as the most perfect pale backdrop!
Instead of typical sliders or Chicago style pizzas as their late-night snack, they had a POUTINE BAR as an ode to Anne's Canadian upbringing! What exactly is Poutine? Apparently it is a popular Canadian snack/fast food, and consists of french fries topped with gravy, cheese curds and whatever other toppings you like... So much fun!
Thanks, Anne & Rick, it was a joy working with you both... I wish you all the happiness in the world!
